Biography: Professor Jian Zhou is a distinguished academic and currently holds the position of Lloyd Fujie/Deloitte Foundation Distinguished Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is a three-time winner of the Shirley M. Lee Research Award, and was also the recipient of the 2018 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who. In addition, he was nominated for a University-wide teaching award by the Shidler College of Business for the Academic Year of 2020-2021.
Prof. Zhou's research interests are in the areas of auditing, financial accounting, and corporate finance. His research has been widely recognized and cited, with more than 5,440 citations according to Google Scholar, and his papers have been downloaded more than 43,700 times on SSRN. He has also served on the Editorial Board of The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, and International Journal of Auditing. Prof. Zhou's contributions to the field of auditing have been outstanding, and he has won several awards for his service to the academic community, including the Outstanding Service to Auditing Award for Outstanding Service to Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, and the Award for Outstanding Service to the American Accounting Association Auditing Section.

Biography: Professor Albert Tsang is a highly accomplished academic and currently holds the position of Chair Professor of Accounting at the SUSTech Business School of Southern University of Science & Technology. He is also a Changjiang Chaired Professor, and is known for his research on ESG and CSR in the field of accounting. In recognition of his significant contributions to academic research in CSR, Prof. Tsang was awarded the 2022 Distinguished Contribution to Accounting Literature Award by the American Accounting Association.
Since 2008, Prof. Tsang has been examining the capital market implications of CSR reporting, and his academic papers have been cited more than 8,000 times. Over the past decade, he has published around 50 papers in leading academic journals, with over 20 of them focusing on CSR/ESG topics. Two of his CSR studies have been ranked worldwide number 1 and 9, respectively in terms of citations among all financial archival papers published since 2010. Prof. Tsang's impressive achievements also include a remarkable record of publishing an article in the Journal of Financial Economics in just 24 days, which is considered one of the most impressive records worldwide among publications in top finance journals.

Biography: Professor Partha S. Mohanram is editor in chief of CAR. He is a distinguished academic and holds the John H. Watson Chair in Value Investing at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He also serves as the Acting Vice-Dean of Research Strategy and Resources at Rotman. In addition, he is the Director of the India Innovation Institute at the university.

Professor Mohanram is widely recognized for his research work in financial statement analysis, valuation of growth firms, implied cost of capital, and executive compensation. He has authored several research papers, which have been published in prestigious journals such as Contemporary Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies. His work has won him several awards, including the Haim Falk award from the Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA) in 2017 and the Rotman Research Impact Award in 2018. Apart from his research contributions, Professor Mohanram is also an experienced educator. He teaches advanced electives on business analysis and valuation at Rotman, which have been highly appreciated by students. He has previously served on the faculty of Columbia University and New York University. He is editor in chief of Contemporary Accounting Research and serves on the editorial board of The Accounting Review and Review of Accounting Studies.

Biography: Dr. Bilal is a highly accomplished accounting scholar who currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at Durham University in the UK. He received his doctoral degree from the prestigious Beijing Institute of Technology, which is accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Dr. Bilal has an impressive publication record in top-tier accounting and finance journals, including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Accounting Literature, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Environmental Science and Policy, International Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation, Applied Economics, and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. His research has been cited over 2,697 times on Google Scholar, which is a testament to the impactful contributions he has made to the field.
Dr. Bilal's research interests are broad and focused on cutting-edge topics such as auditing, carbon accounting, corporate governance and corporate misconduct, the COVID-19 impact on stock markets, climate accounting and reporting, sustainability assurance, and corporate social responsibility. Apart from his research, Dr. Bilal is an active member of the academic community, serving as a reviewer for several renowned international journals and as a conference chair for various international conferences. He has also presented his research work as a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences.

Biography: Prof. Guowei Hua is a distinguished professor at the School of Economics and Management at Beijing Jiaotong University, as well as the executive director of the National Academy of Economic Security. He is a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and a visiting professor at the Business School of Macao University of Science and Technology. Prof. Hua is a senior member of IEEE and the chairman of IEEE LIISS Committee. He is also an executive director and special researcher of China Logistics Society. In recognition of his academic contributions, he was a recipient of the 2020-2022 Most Cited Chinese Researchers of Elsevier award.
Prof. Hua's current research focuses on logistics and supply chain management. He has led and participated in more than 60 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science Foundation of Ministry of Education of China, and Beijing Municipality projects. He has published more than 60 papers in top-tier academic journals such as SCI/SSCI and EI, showcasing his expertise in the field.
